Pt .,I HOOCDH PROCTORIAN PROCTOR IR.-SR. HIGH SCHOOL PROCTOR, VERMONT A TYPICAL DAY . . . I r .l I .t u... ... . A . a , am 1 1 r. .. . 1.. . Av .u.$ wove? i... - . N'. UH The days and weeks pass by, as we share cherished moments with those of whom we love. We live each moment as it comes, and look to the future with a new hope . . . another year . . . another tale . . . For his years of service and support of Proctor Hi h School. we dedicate our 1980-1981 yearbook to Mi 3 Fiske, Sr.. 3 man who had shown loyalty to and concern for the Proctor School system. He was interested in the children 01' the community. coaching Little League baseball and acting as the president of the Phantom Boosters. He fulfilled his dream of having a new scoreboard placed in the gymnasium at Proctor High School. contributing many hours of his free time installing this scoreboard. His familiar face could always be seen among the crowd at eve sporting event, cheering the team on. We were al lucky to have known him. MARK MIGLORIE 1 9 6 3 - 1 9 81 He is a success who has lived well, laughed often and loved much, who has gained the respect of intelligent men and the love of children; who has filled his niche and accomplished his task: who leaves the world better than he found it, whether by a perfect poem or a rescued soul; who never lacked appreciation of earthts beauty or failed to express it; who looked for the best in others and gave the best he had. Anonymous AS THEY SEE IT. There are so many things we have yet to see and d0. Much of our time is spent m homework, talking with friends. and wondering about the future. The road ahead is a long one, and we learn new responsibilities as we strive for perfection. Freshmen are peeple who are just learning a new experience of being in high school but never forgetting what it was like to be in junior high. Kim Sanborn A freshmen is one who was on top last year. but beginning at the bottom once more. Kristi Benoit A sophomore is a person leaving an accustomed life. where expectations have been few. and entering into a world of responsibility and worried about the future. It could be called a transition from adolescence into young adulthood. Kathy Cota A sophomore is someone that's truthful. caring. and loyal. with a special iitouch of class . 'iSuper sophomores is a perfect description of this year's 10th grade class. the class of i'83 . Chris Bearer Being a junior is being ciese to being the big guy and still being able to act like the little guy! Lisa LaFrance Being a junior is having the respect of the upper classmen without having the responsibility of the seniors! Reeny Triller A senior is a person full of hopes, dreams, and fears about a new world. A senior has a youthful, almost child-like personality while living in the present. Iuanita Pelkey Being a senior is to be cool and not let anyone know that you're having a hard time trying to decide whether the senior year is the beginning of the end or the end of the beginning. Larry Young MONDAY - longest day of the Week . . . hated by most who don't like school. Early Monday morning people are zombies dragging down the hall.
