Our Town. Our School - This Is the theme of the 1959 -1960 Proctorian. The school's standard: are determined by the town in which it is located. With this In mind. the Praetorian staff wishes to pay tribute to our town. Proctor. which has helped make our school one of the state's finest. Proctor is located in the central part of Vermont. It is a town built around the rumble industry and is proud to claim the title, Marble Center of the World. Our town offers its citizens beautiful churches and marble buildings. exceptional recreational facilities and the heritage of a good reputation. We are proud of our school: in sports. 1n scholarship. and m the production of good citizens. We hope that this Praetorian will give the reader a more complete appreciation of what our town and our school has to offer.
