SAILING Sailing had a late start this year with the first meet against Williston being cancelled because of a foot of ice on the lake. It hnally went out the last day of April, just in time to put the boats in the water for a meet with Cardigan Mountain. The sailors were at a disadvantage for they had only one day of practice before they had two meets with Cardigan Mountain and one with Dublin. Still, they made a good showing against Cardigan Mountain and beat Dublin, taking the lirst three races from a best out of live meet. The team this year consisted of six returning sailors, four of whom are skippers and nine are new members who have shown a great deal of skill this spring.
