This years B basketball team gave Prtn its first undisputed B division championship since l932 The Beezers had a record ot six stra ght victories until the last game with Iohn Burroughs We lost this game 29 25 in an overtime thu making pos sible a tie for first place w1th Burroughs Ten days later Country Day deleated Burroughs 20 l8 thereby giving Prin the championship With a record of six victories and one defeat for the season ln almost every game the Bee-zers took control from the first quarter on but then there are games like the last Codasco game in which we came rom The squad had an exceptionally fine spi it of team unity The boys who lettered are Van Pelt lag Beckett Hartman lanowitz Silva Willie lag was the high point man with 38 points for seven games Cap tain Merwyr Van Pell was second with 35 points Prin totaled l56 points against 125 for their opponen s The Beezers were truly a tean Mr Craig and Mr McCandless could be proud of E H Buck Row left to right Mr Craig CCo::xcHl Iagg Icmovr Stlxa McCollum Lynch lblanagerl Front Row le!! to nght Beckett Van Felt tC,aptcxml hu trnan 56 I W , . behind to Win 2l-18 after being badly behind at the halt.
