EUNEIHI HNH ttlllllltt EHUHSI Miss Dorothy Maynor Mr Lawrence Txbbett Mr Eugene List This year Princip a has been irdeed fortunate in having on their concert and lecture course such names as Dorothy Maynor Frederick Iagel and Lawrence Tibbett Dorothy Maynor opened the season with a full house that applauded for encore after encore She was a delightful personality we all enjoyed Eugene and left a grand impression The Coolidge String Quartet brought us an eve ning of chamber music with the popular concert pianist Miss Muriel Kerr Dorothy Crawford on December the sixteenth gave another entertaining eve ning not in the form of music but dramatic monologues The only lecture we had the pleasure of hearing was one I am sure we ll not soon forget It was that of Capt Knight and Mr Ramshaw I dont think there is any doubt in anyone s mind as to just which one flew about and which one delivered the humorous lecture on his extremely interesting experiences with different eagles CMr Ramshaw was the eaglel Mr Frederick Iagel a member of the Metropolitan took a particular interest in Principia In his rich baritone voice he delivered an entertaining concert before a crowded Howard Hall We wound up this year with well need I even say whom? You re right it was Lawrence Tibbett and we all know how he was welcomed back with enthusiastic applause I am sure we would all say Principia had a fine concert course this year which was enioyed practically one hundred percent by all but those handful of seat squeakers and program twisters who are afraid to admit that they really did emoy these even ngs 8 ft List, the young but accomlished pianist, performed for us November the eighth 4
