H , Thrs year the Letterman s Club took a new lease on lrfe In addltlon to the usual act1v1t1es whrch consrst of greetlng v1s1t1ng teams and bu11d1ng up sp1r1t 1n athlet1cs the Club also sponsored a carmval to ralse money for a football trrp staged a dance and took over the Job of redecorat1ng the team room ln the armory Many of the boys devoted therr hobby tlme to the latter work so that an attractrve team room could be had The Club al o began a new system of membersh1p Boys upon YGCGIVIHQ the1r mafor letter f1r t have to be voted tnto the Club before becornlng a member so that only those who have proved themselves capable are adm1tted The Club IS well known for the h1lar1ous pledge weexs wh1ch the campus experlences The future Letterman must carry out orders OI'1g1I'1GlSd by the regular Lettermen who are often pretty exhlhrated by the fun Whtle boastrng of tts largest mernbershtp rn years the Club has exh1b1ted more than the usual amount of Splfll and IS anxious to have the feehng car ned out even more strongly 1n years to come l-l H 45 my lllllHM NS Elllll
