Alreatly a group ol' the younger clancers has matle its tirst pulmlic appearance at an exhilmition given for the University City lligh School. Aml the Uiseur himsell' is now planning to present his company of selectecl artists to entertain a family group on the Pi Delta Kappa evening in Flay, with the music of Brahms antl Chopin. lfurhythmics came into lacing when a French musician, lfmile Iacques-lJalcroze, tiountl a way to give his pupils a true appreciation of music. lle lwelievecl that music reaches the listener through the senses, through the vilmrancy oti rhythm. lle saicl that the elements ot' music, rhythm anal clynamics, which 'Rlepentl entirely on movement anal tintl their counterpart in our muscular activity, coultl lie most feelingly expresseml in the rhythmic motion of the hotly.
