The girls have had a mosT proTiTable year due To The eTTorTs oT Mrs. VVinniTred Hubbell, who has lovingly given her Time as direcTor. MEN'S GLEE CLUB The sixTh year oT acTiviTy Tor The Men's Glee Club was very inTeresTing and enjoyable under The leadership OT Mr. Clark. The TirsT quarTer was spenT in preparing To assisT The oTher Glee Clubs in presenTing several choruses Trom l-Tandel's Messiah ATTer ChrisTmas The Club prepared a program To be sung aT The Pi DelTa Kappa program, during The inTermis- sion and baclQsTage during The plays. The acTiviTies oT The School oi NaTions are varied. Several scholarships have been esTablished Through which Principia sTudenTs may prepare Tor some Torm of inTernaTional service. They also make iT possible Tor Toreign sTudenTs To aT'Tend school here. RecenTly, a summer scholarship was announced which enables one sTudenT a year To Travel abroad. One oT The mosT inTeresTing oi The acTiviTies is The School oT NaTions Museum which conTains obiecTs Trom all parTs oT The world. This proiecT was begun by anoTher Triend, who made a collecTion of Tigurines and dolls displaying The naTional 'cosTumes oT various counTries. Since ThaT Time, more and more maTerial has been added including many more figurines, poT- Tery, books, anTiques, phoTographs, TexTiles and carvings. The Library oT The School oT NaTions includes several hun- dred books, many oi Them purchased abroad by members oi The TaculTy, as well as a reTerence Tile conTaining valuable prinTs and picTures, The collecTion OT cosTume plaTes being especially noTable. Three years ago, The message was senT ouT Through The monThly bulleTin, Progress aT Principia, ThaT The School was making a collecTion oT The naTional colors oT oTher naTions. The response was inspiring. The lnTernaTional Colors Collec- Tion now includes Tlags Trom TourTeen counTries. These flags were accompanied by leTTers inclicaTing The desire To parTici- paTe in This ideal oT world-wide Triendship. WiTh The esTablishmenT oT The Tour-year College, greaTer opporTuniTies will be made possible Tor The developmenT oT The School oT NaTions. The Triends who made possible iTs incepTion are giving one hundred and TiTTy Thousand dollars Tor a School oT NaTions building, in addiTion To The income Trom one hundred Thousand dollars Tor use in TurThering These acTiviTies.
