JU IOR CLASS 'T JIM MONTGOMERY Vice President MRS GERTRUDE COLE Advisor SHIRLEY STREITMATTER President LUKIE LAUBER Secretary Treasurer The juniors started the year with a good prom as their main goal, Under the guidance of Mrs. Gertrude Cole, their advisor, they sold candy and Christmas cards, operated the concession stand during basketball season and sponsored a bake sale in the spring in order to defray expenses for this event. The class has been well represented in school activities this year. Quite a few ot the boys made varsity teams in both football and basketball and the varsity cheerleaders were five iunior girls. Two of the iunior girls were named attendants to the homecoming queen and the iuniors won first place for their homecoming float. OPHOMORE CLASS The sophomores, patting themselves on the back for making it through their freshman year, started their second year with assurance of success. They elected Mr. A. G. Samaras, a new member of the faculty, as their advisor. Their float for the homecoming parade won honorable mention, and they were awarded second place for their stunt, The Arthur Godfrey Talent Show, which they entered in the annual stunt show, They had a St. Patrick's Day party which proved to be a big success.
