CLASS OF1943 QLIVER GINSBURG ANDERSQN Ole, The Bear Anderson was born April 11, 1922, in New York City. He is the son of Dr. S. Ginsburg and May Anderson, NLD. His father, who attended Long Island College, is a physician. He has one brother. He prepared at Passaic Collegiate School, and Passaic High School. At prep. school he was President of the French Club, on the Track Team, De- bating Team, and in the Senior Play, At Princeton he majored in Chemical Engineeringg Scholarship holder 145- He was on the Crew Squad Clj g junior Varsity Wrestling Team C25 fgj g member Choir C13 Czj 3 Triangle Club C25 Cgj g Freshman Debating Team Cljg Varsity Debating Team Czjg Princeton Engineering Societyg Prince- ton Student Chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, participant in the Civilian Pilot Training Program Cgj g Air Raid Warden of '03 Hall UQ g member Tower Club. CLASS OF 1943 HOWARD OSVVALD ANDERSEN I-Iowie Andersen was born june 6, 1Q21, in New York City. He is the son of Oswald Andersen and Ingrid joan Blix. His father is a stockbrokerg member New York Stock Exchange, firm of J. R. WilliSt0I1 X Co-rnpany. He has one sister. He prepared at Taft School in Watertown, Conn., where he was on the Football and Basketball Teams, member Student Council g Dance Orchestra. At Princeton he majored in Politics. He was on the Freshman Lacrosse and Gym Teamsg Music Director of the Triangle Club fgjg Cadet Captain, Marine Corps Training C453 worked at Belle Mead Quartermaster Depot, left college for half a year to work for FBI, Department of Justiceg member Charter Club. During Freshman and Sophomore years he roomed at 123 Joline with J. R. Klopferg Junior year at 321 Cuyler and 221 Walker with Klopfer, I. A. Lewis, and R. E. Blackburn, Senior year at 111 Pyne with Klopfer and Lewis. Andersen is engaged to Miss Leigh Pinney, of Stafford Springs, Conn. He is a Lutheran and a Republican. CLASS OF 1943 ADOLPHUS ANDREWS, JR. Dolph Andrews was born March 22, 1922, in New York City. He is the son of Vice Admiral Adolphus Andrews, Annapolis ,O1, and Berenice Plotter. His father is an Admiral in the U.S. Navyg commander on the Eastern Sea Frontier. He has one sister. He prepared at St. Albans and Santa Barbara Schools, where he was on the Soccer and Basketball Teams, and Publications Boards. At Princeton he majored in the School of Public and Inter- national Affairs. Graduated with Honors. He was Business Manager of the Triangle Club QQ 5 member Charter Club. During Freshman year he roomed at 211 Joline with D. E. Parkg Sophomore year at 211 Joline with George Parkerg Junior and Senior years at 186 Little. Andrews will probably engage in diplomatic or foreign service. He is an Episcopalian. His permanent address is Care Andrews Building, Dallas, Tex. E183
