CLASS OF1943 JAMES BURNS AMBERSON, Ill Amby Amberson was born October 12, 1920, in New York City. He is the son of James Burns Amberson, Jr., Lafayette '13 CM.D., Johns Hopkinsj, and Rebecca Steen. His father is a physiciang Professor of Medicine at the College of Physicians and Surgeons, in New York. Hue has one sister. He prepared at Evans and Riverdale Country Schools. At Evans he was on the Student Council, Tennis Team, and active in Riding and Shooting. At Riverdale he was on the Publications Boards, and active in Dramatics. At Princeton he majored in English and Germang Depart- mental Honors Graduated with Honors. He was a member of Terrace Club.
