CLASS OF 1943 FORMAN SINNICKSON ACTON BON, Ac Acton was born August 10, 1920, in Salem, Nj. p He is the son of W. Harker Acton and Elizabeth Forman Sinnickson. His father, a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1913, is an engineer, estimator for E. I. duP'ont de Nemours 51 Company. He has no brothers or sisters. Among his relatives who graduated from Princeton is Oakford W. Acton '36. ' He prepared at Phillips Exeter Academy, where he was active in Dramatics. At Princeton he majored in Chemical Engineering, Second Group Honors flj g First Group Qgj g winner A.I.Ch.E. Award for the highest average of chemical engineers in Freshman and Sophomore years, Sigma Xig Phi Beta Kappa. Graduated with Honors. He was a member of Theatre lntime flj Czj Qgjg interested in Pistol Marksmanshipg member Gateway Club, Vice President Cgj, President 141 During Freshman year he roomed at 47 University Place, Sophomore, junior and Senior years at 111 Witherspoon. CLASS OF 1943 WARREN STANTON ACKERMAN Red Ackerman was born March 5, 1921, in Syracuse, N.Y. He is the son of Eugene and Ida Cook Ackerman. He has three brothers and four sisters. He prepared at Pebble Hill Country Day School fDe Witt, N.Y.j, where he was School President, Editor of the School Paper, on the Baseball, Football and Basketball Teams. At Princeton he majored in Economics. He was on the Freshman Football Team, Manager Campus Sales Agencyg Assistant Manager of Baseball Qminor PHD 5 Can- non Club, Sports Manager. During Freshman year he roomed alone at 12 Bank St., Sopho- more year at 141 Pyne with William B. Wallowerg Junior year at 41-42 Blair with Coddington, Spicer, Collette, and Hochschwen- derg Senior year at 241 '03 Hall with Hochschwender, Boynton, Backes, McLean and Auger. Ackerman is a Methodist, and a Republican. His permanent address is S05 Comstock Ave., Syracuse, N.Y. E23

CLASS OF1943 NATHAN ADAMS N me Adams was born April 26, 1922, in Portland, Me. He is the son of Charles Henry Adams '05 and Margaret Esh- baugh. He has two brothers and one sister. Clarence Ward '05 and James Harrington Boyd '86 are his uncles. He prepared at Deering High School. At Princeton he majored in Historyg Phi Beta Kappa. He was a member of the Nlemorial Committee, and engaged in various campus activities, member of Prospect Club QSec- retaryj. During Freshman and Sophomore years he roomed at 31 North Edwards, Junior year at Prospect Club with Paul Steipole and Budge Blake, Senior year at Prospect Club with Bill Bethune and Bill Lakeland.
