CLASS OF1943 JOHN EDWARD ACKERMAN, JR. Jack y Ackerman was born Ma'rch 5, 1922, in Paterson, NJ. , He is the son of John E. Ackerman and Theresa Buckley. His father is president of Arrow Carrier Corporation. He has one brother and one sister. He prepared at The Peddie' School, where he was President of the Senior Class, and on the Varsity Football Team. At Princeton he majored in Biology. Graduated with Honors. He is a member of Cannon Club. During Freshman year he roomed at 16 Dickinson St., Sopho- more year at 101 Holder with W. Eiman and W. B. Orrg Junior year with Eiman at 21 Little, Senior year at 68 Little with H. H. Apgar and S. Elliott '44. Ackerman is engaged to Miss Doris Formon, of Clifton, NJ.
