March Princeton Hosts SAN JOSE, PHILIPPINES-During the week of March 19th through 26th, the wardroom of the USS PRINCETON was enlivened by the varied uniforms of 18 different services of six SEATO nations. The colorful uniforms belonged to twen. ty observers who were embarked on the amphibious assault carrier to witness the giant SEATO exercise entitled TU- LUNGAN, the observers also got a thorough indoctrination in PRINCETON 's operations and the part that her mission of vertical envelopmentv would play in the exercise. The observers represented the following services: Royal Marinesg Royal Air Forceg Australian Armyg Royal New Zealand Armyg Royal New Zealand Navyg French Marine Corpsg Royal Thailand Air Forceg Royal Thailand Army 3 Philippine Navyg Philippine Armyg and United States Air Force.

The Philippine ensign aboard the American warship marked the presence of his excellency Diosdado Macapagal, President of the Repub. lic, Who honored the PRINCETON with a visit during D Day of OPERATION TULUNGAN. The President's party which also included Mr. William E.
