Pep Club The purpose of the Pep Club is to create spirit by supporting the various teams and their school community in general It is open to all junior high school students who maintain a C average. - Pep Club activities include: teacher appreciation, attending the various athletic events, working as assistants for track and field events, conducting Spirit Day and the annual spring dance with Student Council, collection of canned goods for Christmas, support- ing Brotherhood Week activities, and a dance team Members wear red and white T- shirts and jeans. Pompoms are used at pep assemblies and clubattended games. Students must wear their shirts and jeans on game days. Certificates, based on participation in club activities, are presented at the end of the year. A special award is pre- sented to the outstanding Pep Club member.

SOLS Students Offering Leadership Ser- vlce Is a volunteer program for students at PJHS. We represent our school in different activities. We try to make our- selves good examples for other students to follow. Some of our activities this year include assisting patents to find their child's class during the parentheacher con- ferences, ushering any school pro- gmms. and showing the elementary dis- trict 6th graders around our school Being in SOLS has helped me per- sonally to be a leader at Princeton Junior High School. Marci Hale F oreign Language . Club The Foreign Language Club is open to all students who are enrolled in French. Latin, and Spanish classes The purpose of the club is to give its mem- bers an opportunity to explore more fully the backgrounds and cultures of the countries from which their lan- guages come. The Triangle of Language club con- sisted of thirty-five students. who are Interested in learning about different customs and celebrations around the world.
