November 21st! The sec- Musical Drganizations Under the expert direction of Mr. Bischoff, the P.H.S. musical organizations carried on a highly successful year. The Band participated in Football Homecoming, pep assemblies, basketball games, and also entertained the Band Mothers on January 26. The spring concert on April 12 was highly praised for such selections as Under Paris Skies , Fantasy for Three , and Le Val De Bois . The concluding event of 1959 was the tournament in Fond du Lac, at which Concert Overture and Them Basses were played. On hand were the cheerleaders and the pep band, and the talent of the various classes was at its best in presenting hilarious skits. Mr. Lueck. the advisor of the sponsoring senior class, announced the homecoming king and queen - Glen Giese and Joan Jacobson. Later the royal couple led the traditional snake dance out to the football field for a magnificent bonfire.
