Carter Row 2: Mark Stephens, Steve Schennum, Steve Hendrickson, Bob Drake, Coach Coates Cross Countiiy is both an individual and a team sport. his was pointed out this year as the varsity had some great individual Berformances highlighted by senior Dwight arling's 88tlw ace finish in the state meet. Senior Brian ittwer won the Oregon Open, placed fourth at the Princeton Invitational, sixth at the Dixon Invitational, and ninth in the regionals while loggingi over seven hundred miles and being t e number one runner for the Tigers al season. Other seniors on this year's stiuad included four-year runners David Hea ey, Scott Loving, and Art Williams and three-year runners Whitney Eckard, Mike McKune, and Jerr Oaks. Junior letter winners included Brac? Anderson, Tony Grace, Tony Harris, Jeff Jansen, and Doug Schroyer. Sophomore varsitylletter winners were Thad Boss and Dave elson. Captains for this year's team were Brian Wittwer and Dwight Darling. Darling was voted most valuable runner. Tony Grace, the top junior runner, logged over 350 miles during the summer. ave Nelson and Jeff Jansen earned All-NCIC Academic team status by having an accumulated grade point average o 3.72 or above. The frosh-soph team had a great year as a team as they compiled a dual meet record of ten wins and onliy one loss, won three invitationals, an beat eighty-five schools while losing to twenty overall during the season. Top frosh-sgph runners included Thad Boss, Andy Morse, teve Schennum, Dave Nelson, Bob Koger, Mark Stephens, E. J . Carter, and Steve Hendrickson.

Dawn And Diane Ace It To State! il VARSITY TENNIS TEAM Row 1: Dulcie Hunt, Connie Pierson Row 2: Michelle Martin, Cindy Johnson, Jenny Jesse, Kristin Swanson, Michelle McCall, Dawn Krug, Hilde Brutsaert Row 3: Hye Ok Pak, Lisa Krieger, Amy Vaughn, Shelly Smith, Cheryle Foley, Diane Lymberopoulos The 1986 Princeton girls tennis teams had another exciting season. The varsity finished the season with six wins and four losses. The doubles team placed fourth in the NCIC and won various honors in tournaments. A highlight of the season had to be that Diane Lymberopoulos and Dawn Krug went to the state finals. 26 Tennis iii' 17 Dawn Krug at practice. Diane Lymberopoulos shows her excite ment for the win.
