At The Movies At P.H.S., Homecoming festivi- ties must go on, even if the weath- er does not cooperate. The week opened with Splash and everyone went Hawaiian. The spirit link competition got underway and classes started on their floats. Tuesday's main event was Class and students came attired in their Sunday best. Jeff Julian and Becky Staton were crowned King and Queen during coronation and reigned over the rest of the week's activities. Wednesday brought PeeWee's Big Adventure and a bunch of real nerds to the halls of P.H.S. A great number of celebrities showed up on Thursday when Trading Places was featured. The big day arrived with a double feature. In the morning it was Blue Thunder with blue and white dressing. It was announced Pam Shriver smiles for the camera on Nerd Day. that the Sophomores had edged out the Seniors in a heated spirit link competition. Then it was time for A View to Kill parade, pep ral- ly, and game. At Soldiers and Sail- ors Park, all the classes joined in cheers and the school song as the Tigers prepared for a victory. The Kittens were victorious over the Meteors, but the Tigers were defeated by the Rock Falls Rock- ets, 21-0. Saturday night closed out the hec- tic week of activities with Vision Quest - Crazy for You dance. Mu- sic was provided by Joe Hawkins. Homecoming 1985 received so much applause that there is a se- quel in the works for next year. Would you believe Homecoming 1986?? Celebrants on Hawaiian Day gather in the chorus room. 12 Homecoming
