Mr. Smith tells about the day he wore 2 belts to class I had one belt on and slipped my belt that I was going to use for my coaching pants around my waist, instead of carrying it. I was going to take it off when I ar- rived at school, but for- got. My second hour alge- bra II class wondered if I always wore two belts. It was most embarrassing the worst possible thing that could happen according to Mr. Smith, is to give a test over chapter 7 having just completed chapter 6. 56 faculty Mr. Townes enjoys bowl- ing. basketball and golf in his spare time he spends his summers studying and vacationing in Colorado. Vetter. 108 classes class officers of 1972 though we have never really been before, the next few pages show our senior class very close to- gether . . . but how could our class, or any other, be close all the time, when made up of so many people leading their own lives as individuals ... it seemed as though we entered high school all thinking alike . . but high school life finds all of us matur- ing and making decisions on our own that affect our futures . . . thus we then leave high school as individuals ... these “individu- als” will be meeting other stu- dents, like them, from other schools and taking their views to college ... the students deciding against going on to school, will be going out into the world a little sooner than the rest . . . with what they have learned in high school, however, they will do their jobs well . .. although it seems to students that high school will never end, it does .. then we must look to what all the teachers and counselors have spent the past four years prepar- ing us for, tomorrow becoming today ... that is what we all live for and that is what decides our fates ... in closing, I personally would like to thank my fellow offi- cers, the senior advisory board, our faculty advisers and the rest of the faculty, and of course the senior class .. so in these next few pages, I now present to you the class of 1972” ...
