The memories of the 1980 homecoming linger on. It was the time when students united their efforts by spending many hours working on floats, and supporting their team at the football game. The ceremony, parades, mums, spirits, friends, teachers, elegance, bands, and dances will not be forgotten. Those selected for the royal court will always have sentimental thoughts when they look in their closets to find formal dresses hanging, or find flowers pressed in scrap books along with all the pictures. Yes, Homecoming 1980 will long be remembered. MORE A King Jimmy Miller and Queen Randi Raines reign jestically over the halls of Princeton High School. This year’s events included a sidewalk cafe, and an installation banquet with an authentic French meal. A trip to Roanoke to see a Moliere play and a four-day tour of Montreal and Quebec City of Canada highlighted the year’s activities. A few members took a summer trip to France.
