The 1978-79 athletic season was enhanced by the appearance and colorful new moves of our Pom-Pon girls. These girls practiced very hard to be able to en- tertain the many Tiger fans at sporting events during the year. Their dedication to the teams and the school is deeply ap- preciated. B.J. Burkett. The PHS Varsity cheerleaders led the cheers and boosted school spirit considerably this year. The girls also supported the basketball team while in Morgantown and worked long hours to be outstanding representatives of PHS. 19
