A week later we lost to Somerville, l4e6, in a poorly played game, but quickly re- bounded to defeat Manasquan, 7-U. A l9fl8 loss in a thrilling and hard fought game with Lakewood followed. Sparked by the good playing ot l'Slcip Hall and Bob Dilatush, Princeton High com- pleted its varsity season with a 2leO victory over Highland Park. All in all the squad under Coaches Iosf eph Iingoli and Richard Wood completed a highly successful season, winning live games and losing tour. The I. V.'s, under Coach Wood, come pleted a most successful season with three wins, two losses and one tie. Led on by such players as Iake Bartolino and Rudy Shelton, they defeated the I. V. squads from Trenton High, B.M.l., and Hamilton. They lost to Ane nandale Reform School and Peddie, and tied Somerville. The Lightweights, coached by Mr. Iose eph Friel, also had a successful season, compiling victories over Lawrenceville, Somerville, and Peddie twice, losing only to the Trenton Catholic I. V.'s.
