To get the boys in top shape Coaches lingoli and Wood planned many hours of good hard calisthenics. We scrirnmaged against Free hold and twice against the l-lun School win ning all the games by large margins. Miss Guests hockey enthusiasts also be gan their sports training early. Fundamental skills such as driving and stopping the ball dribbling, and tackling were explained and demonstrated in these practices and at tempted by all the girls Our cross country team began to shape later in September. lvlr. The purpose of the patrol is to supervise student traffic and conduct in the building between classes and lunch periods. jim 519:14 About eighty girls responded to Miss Guests call for hockey players at the end of September. We practiced several days each week and competed in class competi- tion Wednesdays. The Sophs were the unde- feated victors in these games. ln our first inter-scholastic games, played at Miss l:'ine's, the Varsity lost, 4-2, while the Iunior Varsity Won, 2 - l. November 2 We were guests at the Hightstown play day. Fighting hard, we UM 601111 a Eanq! beat Iamesburg, 3 - O, and tied with Hights- town, l - l. November 18 four class teams travelled to Hamilton. The Freshmen and Senior games ended, O-O, and, l -1, respectively. The Iuniors overcame their opponents, 2 - UQ the Sophs were defeated, 2 - l, We were hosts to Hamilton, November 23.
