S f- .4 , X 0 Y Cf Q . . ll fx M xi iff The Panther Band, under the direction of Marilyn Mattei, received numerous awards and made many accomplishments during the '78-'79 year. The year began with a half-time performance at every football game. The Christmas Concert put everyone in the Christmas spirit. Then the real work began. The band struggled endlessly to perfect their UIL contest music. They were rewarded with a division I rating. The band also went to the Sandy Lake Fun-Fest and received another division I rating.
