O Dear Students: ,Malaya We have just emerged from one of the greatest struggles known in world history. Our armies have come through victor- iously, and now if we are to make and preserve the peace it beco es the responsibility of each of us to bring about the proper relationships between Nations and individuals of our own United States. As long as you live you will meet and associate with people. You may acquire great wealth in lands and goods. You may accumulate millions in vaults and safety deposit boxes but of what value is material wealth without the human touch? Therefore it would seem to me that in a democracy, human re- lationships are far the material wealth Improved means smaller, and proper more important to us as a Nation than all that our citizens may acquire. , of transportation have made the world relationships between peoples of other nationalities are equally as important as our own. We believe that the function of education is to help people of all Nations to realize the proper re- lationships necessary for secure homes, happy people, and loyal citizens. Personally, it is a great pleasure to work with boys and girls of the Princeton Public School, who are striving to reach these goals.
