Dropped books and never ceasing chatter, Banging typewriters, and laughter shatter The silence that. 15 ndt often found ' ' Voices rise in a chorus of sounds. Athletics Student Sounds Students LISTEN for have become so much a part of Everyday life that the number and variety are unnoticed. The sound of education cannot be separated from the buzzing saws, clacking typewriters, or classroom recita- tions. Athletic and extracurricular activities are linked with the ex- citing sounds of cheering, laughter, and music. And throughout each day there is the important sound of the silence needed to contem- plate the dafs activities and to pause for meditation and inspira- tion. x 'menww.w,Aw ,W WW a u?
