The f- waiting throng seems to send up the cry as k one, Welcome home, Sailor ! the gangway is k down, and the first sailor is on the dock, then f a second, a third. From then it's a steady stream of running, wildly happy men. If 1 you look closely you can see an anxious wife ' seeking out her husband, a name called, a turn, and that wide eyed look, as they sight W each other. When they are together and the if laughter and tears are mingled, there isn't A much more to be said. See that man on -x gr l watch waving wildly to his wife as she holds his son high for him to see? He's never seen that son before . . . But there are other men that will have to wait a few weeks and thousands of miles to see their loved ones. Yes, All Ashore USA means many things to many people, but to all it means we're home.
