The general mess will feed at their regular sitting 24 men a minute. It also means that a barber shop, a tailor shop, a cobbler shop, a soda fountain, a clothing sales- room, a laundry, and ship's stores must be staffed and equip- ped to serve the needs of the men. Besides these necessary services, supply must stock and issue all the wrenches, lathes, screw drivers, hammers, pliers, cameras, and broomsg they must have on hand rubber tires, toilet paper, ink, pencils, lubriacting oil, typewriter ribbon, cigarettes and propellers.
