But A Division handles these matters for you, and a great manysmore. Things from the ridiculous to the sub- limeg things all over the ship. Here is a rundown of A Division ser- vices for the Princeton. The steering gear, aircraft elevators, and anchor windlass, the machine shop, air .condi- tioning equipment, ice machines, refri- geration for food cold storage lockers, some 80' water coolers for your drinking pleasure, the ship's laundry, the emer- gency diesel generators, diesel fire pumps and air compressors, hot water heaters for your showers, and steam heat for those cold winter nights. Even the dish- washing machines are for A Division to keep running. Not as glamorous as a Panther-jet, not as powerful as a 5 gun, some of it vital and some routine, but it's all important.
