Dedication Tribute to the New City of Virginia Beach-Since the Vir- ginia Beach and Princess Anne County merger of last year, the students of Princess Anne High School have become citizens of a cosmopolitan area. We of Princess Anne have become a part not only of a beau- tiful resort city but also of a city with many historical land marks including the Cape' Henry Lighthouse, the Princess Anne Courthouse, and the statue of the Norwegian Lady. For many of us, the Virginia Beach vicinity is not new. Those who have lived in this area for many years have seen nu- merous changes - from the disappearance of familiar farm lands . . . to the rapid growth and expansion of housing projects, the construction of new schools each year, the completion of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel-and most of all, to the forma- tion of the NEW CITY OF VIRGINIA BEACH. To those students who are new to the City of Virginia Beach and Princess Anne High School, a welcome is extended from the largest high school in Virginia Beach and from the largest resort city in the world.
