One could liken the school to a modern factory, for, in essence, it must mass produce good minds. The task is not easy. The home with a tutor is a bygone, replaced by large edifices for the education of many. Within the framework of each learning situation the student is taught to evaluate with discrimination, to set standards and values with cau- tion, to respect With admiration - to listen, to speak, to think, and to docu- ment thoughtfully and carefully. Citizens of tomorrow, leaders of the future, pulse of the nation-cliches to be sure--yet still these are the epithets of todayls youth. But the pulse of Princess Anne is strong for its students are active. Sports, clubs, and other extra-curricular activities thrive on student participation and leadership. Our youth will not be mediocre citizens, for they are learn- ing to discuss intelligently, to think critically, and to act rationally. Through clubs and organizations qualities of leade ship and co-operation are developed. Participation in a team sport necessitates the forget ting of one's own identity, for the team must functio as a whole in body and in spirit.
