SCA Continues Aid Policy to Community This year, as in preceding years, there were community problems all around us. Real- izing this, the SCA spon- sored another food and clothing drive for the needy. The proceeds were sent to various organizations in Virginia. Patrick Henry Hospital received five boxes of foodg Prince George County received enough food and clothes for twelve families. Cancer was also aided this year. A basketball game be- tween the sexes was spon- sored with the proceeds going to the Cancer Fund. The game brought about 5500. Then there are the normal proceedings of the SCA. They sponsored a field day which was a success and another basketball game with the pro- ceeds going to the March of Dimes. All of this would not have been done without the officers: Terry Oakley, Presidentg Sharon Williams, Vice Presi- dentg John Duval, Secretaryg and Kathy Brissette and Sallie Close, Co-Treasurers. The sponsor was Mrs. Solyan. Striking a pose for the camera on Fifties Day, Linda England shows the change in the type ofdress over the years. Linda borrowed the clothes from her mother.
