9 Eighth Grade Netters Show Promise, Skill The eighth grade basketball team preparestthe boys for play for the Junior Varsity team, giving them much needed experience. This yearis eighth grade team was a team with much height, an ingredient which has been lacking in the intermediate basketball team for many years. The eighth grade team was coached by Terry Trickler. Although the team did have its problems, the boys showed promise and skill and should give valuable aid to the JV team next year. The JV Baseball team was cold the first half of the season winning only l out of 6 games until G 6 , the anything happened. The Baby Royalsw n C suddenly turned around and won 4 out of their last six games to finish at 5-7. Robert Allen 9 9 led in batting with a .438 average and 3 HR's.
