ans Join Cheerleaders in Yells, Cheers for Royals LEFT: Donna Zuskin drives herself to the brink of emotional euphoria to execute a perfect cheer. BELOW: Arousing school spirit at a pep rally, the cheerleaders get it on with a cheer. BELOW, LEFT: Sporting her new uniform, Linda Mason strains her insides for the Junior Varsity basketball players. Many were the times when one would enter the gym to see the Baby Royals basketball team with a ten point lead. And who would be winning on the sidelines? The cheerleaders. The cheerleaders have been with both the football and basketball teams through victory and defeat, enjoying more victories than defeats. During every game, the cheerleaders would chant themselves into a state of spiritual frenzy, and finally achieve their goal: 100921 support from the fans.

. ntermediate Cheering Brings Spirit to Teams, School Intermediate cheerleading . . . Good things come in small packages. That was the case with the eighth grade cheerleaders this year. Cheering the eighth grade basketball team on to several victories, they also added a little spice to the game for both the players and the fans. These girls took their training from Mrs. Springfield and the Junior Varsity cheerleaders. With this background, they should be prepared to replace the departing ninth graders competently. TOP CENTER: The eighth grade cheerleaders generated as much spirit in the bleachers sitting down as they did on the court.
