Z I .immense Paul S, Being made perfect in a short space, he fulfilled a long time, for his soul pleased God. Wisdom Brother Lawrence was among the first group of Brothers to arrive at Price in 1938. Over half of his career in Christian education was dedicated to the welfare of our stu- dentsg nine of these years being spent as Director. Under his dy- namic leadership many boys were formed into Christian gentlemen. The word received on May 29, 1954, of his untimely death at the age of forty-two, caused sorrow in UH 1-lb the hearts of all who knew him. ka f fix 0 xhfifz . tfvfe Sufi ixaffyf' SW 42, swam X-'nf ' 7.5.5. They that instruct many unto justice shall shine as stars for all eternity. Daniel Brother Francis was also a mem ber of the first community of Broth- ers at Price. Called away for sev- eral years, he returned to us in 1951. He was faithful to his respon- sibilities in the classroom and in the office until two days before his death on September 10, 1954, at the age of sixty. We consider ourselves most fortunate to have known Brother in the last years of his life. He was ever ready to speak an encouraging wordg and his example as a most zealous, pious and courteous Chris- tian gentleman is one that we will always remember.
