Fitting the News The Dluejoy Bugle Staff had many return- ing members. Editor Lisa Clement worked many hours to get oil the articles typed ond pur together to meet the deodlines. Somehow, the paper always managed to get published. Some of the news items in- cluded Homecoming, sports, music, school gossip ond senior interviews. Pictures! Layouts! Deadlines! Assembling pictures, drawing layouts and meeting deadlines is nothing new to the yearbook stoff. The yearbook staff drew on o lorger-rhon overage staff of 25 members to do oil those things this time oround. including 2 new photographers. Most of the staff was inexperienced, ond that proved to be o challenge to correct their initial mistakes. Lost summer, to help increase the quali- ty of the yearbook, four staff members were sent to the Toylor Yearbook Workshop held ot Sr. John's University near Sr. Cloud in August. Jodell Meyer, Kim Combern. Rich Snyder, ond Kevin Sime. along with advisor Mr. Hokenson spent o week on compus capturing many new ideas ond learning yeorbook techniques. The Presron-Founroin staff was one of many schools represented or the workshop. On Tuesdays. Wednesdays, ond Thursdays, you con find stoff members sell- ing condy offer school to moke money to help finance the book.
