September Srd, 1946, twelve Haines, Bob Hopwood, Martin Dale Perkins, Jce.n Raymond, Weber, came bounding up the four had begun the 'Primer' giggling Freshmen, Carole Brown, Carl McCaw, Joan Marbach, Carroll Montgomery Wayne Slasor, Caroline Snider, Francis stairs to Prescott High School only together Martin, the two Joan's and Bob They were all 'green' but eager to take everything in their stride which later years proved. We elected Francis Weber, Pres.: Carroll Montgomery, Vice Pres., Martin MeCaw, Seoy. Treas., Bob Hcp wood, Reporter, Mr. Beyer, Advisor. The Initiation brought out some strange sights with boys dressed like old wmen and girls awkvmrdly draped in men's mmderwear. The high light of the year was the Fresh Pariq, held in the gm. September 2nd, 1947, Our Class had lost two of its manbers, but each of the in the Carole Weber , with a Ten Sophomores was eager to get under way after his 'seasoning previous year. Officers for the year were: Wayne Slaser, Pres. Brown, Vice Pres., Joan Marbaoh, Seoy. Trees., RePo3 Francis 'Watch Dog'g Mrs. Fisher, Advisor. We opened the Yuletide :hm gay Christmas Party on December 19th. Caroline Snider held a wonderhxl dinner at her home for the entire class on March 18th. On August 30th, 1948, ten very proud Juniors began the year with great plans for the year. Under the leadership of our off1cers,Bob Hopwood, Pres.: Carole Broom, Vice Pres., Joan Marbach, Secy.3 Joan Raymond, Trees., we assumed many new responsibilities in school activities. In the early fall we had a picnic in Walla Walla. We gave a one-act play entitled, 'How To Propose' the 'Big Date' of the year sirable garden with little decorations. Carole Brovm which was a hilarious success. Of course was the Junior Prom, the theme was a de picket fence and flowers everywhere for and Bob Hcpwood were crowned Queen and King. No one will ever forget the thrill cf Jr. Rings' and the pleasant mem cries of those last spring days. offices in every activity in the school the F F.A., Girls' Leagze, Student Static, Band, Glee Club, Athletics opened their new year with may new projects. One of these uppermost in their minds was the 'Tiger Annual . With much hard work they convinced the Student Body and the Faculty that the Annual would be a worthwhile momento to their high school days. On November 18th the entire class presented 'A Ready Made Family , a three-act play, to an appreciative audience. After this highly successful play they met at a 'birst Nighter' Party at the home of Carole Brown. The entire class was in a whirl with so many farewell' affairs that accompany graduation. None of the boys will ever forget Bob's 'farewell' talk at the F F A Parents-Son Banquet. Then there was Carole Brown's 'adieu' at the Girls' League Mother Daughter Banquet. The Senior Farewell', a lovely formal dance, was a little sad as the other students wished them good luck on their deparhxre from school. Of course the 'Senior Sneak' at Bingham Springs filled their hearts with gay spirits and their minds with many pleasant memories to keep for the future. Class Night with the appearance of the Annual, the reading of the Will, the History, the Prophecy makes us feel as if Graduation is really near. After the Baccalaureate Semen and then Graduation on the morrow each Senior leaves dear Prescott with many pleasant memories of learning, hard work, enjoyable entertainments , and friendships that they will never forget.
