Badger Girls' tale Bascom Hall Mary Ann Stark, sponsored by the Prescott American Legion Auxiliary, was chosen by Mr. Malone to attend Badger Girls' State and represent Prescott there. The girls attending elect their own city, county, and state officers. Included on the program are discussions of the forms of government, why we have political parties, who decides what state government does, the legal status of women and many other aspects of citizenship and government. The conference was held at the University of Wisconsin Campus at Madison, June 18 through June 25, 1958.
