Most Popular SWEET PERSONALITY and gra- ciousness make Joanne Gniedel, Most Popular girl, tops on every- body's list, A very active andbusy young lady, Joanne has belonged to Fl-LA, GAA, Yellow Jackets, and Library Club. She was secretary of the junior class, and, as a junior, she was elected to the Thanksgiv- ing royalty as Queen of the Ply- mouth Rock and Roll. In her sen- iorryear, Joanne has served as stu- dent body secretary and spirited captain of the pom-pon girls. Many a boy fand girly will never forget J o. IN-ZANY WIT and a likeable manner: these remind Us of Phil Oelze, Most Popular boy. A boy of many interests, he has lettered in football and baseball for three years, he was a sophomore home- room officer, and, as president of the senior class, he has served very ably. His versatile qualities also include artistic ability. We'll re- member him as wit extraordinary and friend super-duper.

Kathy has a talented finger in many pies: the Badger, of which she is editorg GAA, Usherettes, Library Club, Quill and Scroll, and National Honor Society, among others. She is planning college for the immediate future and, after that, a career. 16 Y r EXCELLING in a Variety of fields, Ed Hicks is the boy Most Likely to Succeed at almost anything-- public speaking, writing, acting, or anything re- quiring gray matter. Ed is president of the Science Club, photog- grapher ofthe Badger, photographer and sports edi- tor of the annual, and a member of Quill and Scroll, student council, slide rule club, Thespians, and others. He had the masculine lead in the sen- ior play. A career in medicine beckons this boy.

Most School Spirit AN UNBEATABLE combination are Sandra Neil's grace and pep, for which she was elected girl with Most School Spirit. She has dis- played her spirit as head student body cheerleader and also as an active participant in school social life. She belongs to GAA, FHA, Yellow Jackets, and Junior Red Cross. A member of the band for three years, she has served as sec- retary of the Band Council. We'll remember Sandra's roles in both the junior and senior class plays, too. OUTSTANDING CAPABILITY and likeability, demonstrated in many ways, make Tom Swanson the boy with Most School Spirit. A member of the Lettermen's Club, Tom has played football, basket- ball, and golf, he belongs to Na- tional Athletic Honor Society. Other interests have gained Tom membership in National Honor So- ciety, Student Council, and the band. In his junior year, he was a delegate to Boys' State and a homeroom officer. Tom will be majoring in business administra- tion at the University of Arizona in Tucson next year.
