Ramage Principal The help and guidance given so freely and co-operatively by this year's administrators and School Board has benefited and brought prosperity to the Prescott Senior High School. They have done everything possible to help better this school and very often received no credit for their work. The students owe a great deal to these men who have shown such fine spirit towards their education. Taylor T. Hicks Roxie L. Webb Victor H. Lytle George F. Backe Vocal Music. Waldo L. Also, with the same intentions, the school custod- ians have given generously of their time and effort to keep our school one of which we can be proud. Mary Felippi Pat Bartlett Emil Weisling, Richard Vorpagel, George Davis, Charles Bald. ZJk 5e cjCeadt Set OL Va empo Under the exceptionally good guidance of this year's student body officers, our school has done many things. As these officers preside over the student council and direct its ac- tivities, they also directed the student council's different campaigns. Such campaigns were the Clean-Up week and the drive to collect clothes and food for the Navajo Christmas party. These same officers have set a good example throughout the school year for the rest of the student body and have kept the school rules and regulations in good running force cooperated in every way. STUDENT BODY OFFICERS, lefl to right, Lyle Nash, Jack Pfister, Tom Sprbtt, council, men-at-large; Janet Hilsabeck, secretary; Darrell Hatch, vice-president; Stan Whittum president; Judy Rohrer. yell-leader; Pete Van Ness. Lee Hickerson, Jack Aiton. councilmen- at-large; and David Duran, athletic manager. V h Cynthia Gardner John Gabaldon John Ludwig Mary Vermillion Student Cc Bill Reilly ounce Vivian Seaman (Beit U6lCLCin3 Taking over the title of Best Musicians from the class of '51 are Kay Sheldon and Bob Palm. Kay. who is practically a native of Prescott is well known and well liked by everyone for her Full of Fun and Fancy Free onlook on life. In the way of music Kay is accomplished on the piano and played the flute in the school band one year. On the side one of her favorite pastimes is playing the Uke. Bob, although he has only attended Prescott schools for four years, is everybody's friend. He, like Kay, plays the piano exceptionally well. Bob has done quite a bit in the way of accompanying choruses and solos, both vocal and instrumental. Being closely related to the band for the past years by serving as drum major, Bob can also fill in to play the drums. Always wearing a great big grin. Bob is opposed to unhappy fdces. He saysâ Get Happy. Bed ancers Whether it's fast or whether it's slow. Margie Siegert and Joe Matli the class of â51âs Best Dancers can dance it best. Margie is more than graceful on the dance floor, and with her magnetic personality it isn't hard to see why she is a favorite dancing partner. A popular figure around the ccmpus at Prescott Senior High, you'll always find our Margie a Bluebird of Happiness with an unceasing twinkle in her eye and a good word for everyone. Joe, chosen from the boys of the Senior class as the best dancer, more than bubbles over with rhythm. He's fun to dance with, not only for that reason, but because he always seems to be having such a good time. Should you ask anyone who knows Joe, what kind of a person he is. I'm sure they'd say he's A Wonderful Guy. Happy to be able to do so the class of '51 presents Margie end Joe- with the titlo of Best Dancers . WJittieit Pat Buckholz and Jerry Duke are their names. âWittiest is their title. Pat, chosen as the wittiest girl sparkles with personality and beams with smiles. Her favorite pastime is imitating people and because you can't possibly take her seriously, everyone likes her. Always on the spot to break up a gloomy situation with her contagious humor we consider Pat our little âGreat Big Bundle of Joy . Laying them in the aisles as Charlie's Aunt in the Senior class play, was where Jerry's fun-loving nature first showed itself to the public. Forever smiling, always joking, ever teasing is our Jerry. Wearing his wonderful disposi- tion on his coat sleeve Jerry goes around flashing his âI Love Life attitude at everyone. Pat and Jerry the wittiest? We should hope to tell you. oit f opufar Judy Rohrer and Ivan Muse are two people very worthy of the title of âMost Popular . Judy is indeed a favorite with everyone around her. This last year Judy was cheerleader and through her fine spirit and cooperation wtih the students, helped do many things to help the school spirit itself. âPowder Your Face With Sunshine seems to be Judy's motto .as she always has a friendly smile and a cheerful word for everyone. Smiles seems to be just another name for Ivan, our most popular boy. Having lived here off and on for only a few years, he has gained friends all around him. When his face crinkles up with smiles, people around him just can't help smiling back. His contagious grin and friendly manner is only one of the many, many reasons why Ivan is on the top of the list with everyone. Wost s rtiitic Chosen by the class of '51 as it's Most Artistic stu- dents we find Janet Harvey and Jerry Huffaker. To describe Janet we might say she is very Sweet and Lovely. Everyone who knows her likes her, and everyone knows her. Jerry is just an all around Jolly Good Fellow and is always willing to lend a hand and help you out with some thing no matter how busy he might be. Both Janet and Jerry are continually being called on to make posters, place-cards, even crowns, sketches and other kinds of art work that calls for a talent such as they possess. Without any question Janet and Jerry are the two stu- dents most worthy of the title Most Artistic . lost cJliLely to Into the hands of Janice Hilsabeck and Robert Church goes the high honor of being chosen Most Likely to Suc- ceed . E6ing a straight one student to give her a good start. Janice has many other merits to carry her to success. She is dependable, thorough, and will see a job through to the end. Janice has taken an active part in many activities and has a nice poised way around people. If you were to talk to Janice you'd find that she believes in traveling On The Sunny Side of the Street . Robert, another senior student with a high grade ave- rage will no doubt live up to the title given him. Always busy doing something is Robert, but never too busy to do something more if it's necessary. He too, possesses those qualities that Janice has, which are necessary for success- A good name to pin on Robert might be Shine for he seems to always be beaming with lots of good cheer. Seit Slthletei Upon Jane Lee Gale and Ben Gill the class of '51 has bestowed the title of Best Athletes . Jane Lee has excelled in all sports through her three years of high school. She has attended two state tourna- ments in archery and placed at both. This year she is president of the Girls' Athletic' Association. With her Sugar Sweet disposition and her never ceasing generos- ity Jane Lee will always be a favorite among her friends. Ben is a well known figure on the football field, on the basketball court, and on the track. He has done very well in oil sports. This year he was chosen by his team mates as football captain. Following right along in the pat. tern of things it seems quite appropriate to pin on Ben as a theme, You've Gotta Be A Football Hero . Chosen this year as the two students of the class of '51 with the Most School Spirit, are Pat Golding and Bill McFarland. Pa has lived in Prescott only three years but in that time she has made herself well known and active around P.H.S. You will always find her at all the games and ral- lies and other activities, but her school spirit is not limit- ed. It extends to all phases of bettering her school. With- out a doubt, with her Hair of Gold, Eyes of Blue and a lively nature, Pat is deserving of her title. Bill, on the other hand has lived in Prescott the better part of his eighteen years. Always practicing his motto Enjoy Yourself, don't be surprised if you see a streak and a grin go flashing by â it's just our Bill. Chosen as assistant cheerleader this year he had a chance to let off some of that wonderful school spirit of his and he did too. by doing a real bang-up job. Thanksgiving was highligh'ed by the Thanksgiving Dance sponsored by the Juniors. Gosh! What a crowd there was that night! Remember the jitterbug contest, the highlight of the dance? Another dance sponsored by the Juniors was very memorable. What a gay time everyone had at the Club 52 after the Tucson game, Jan- uary 20. Candle light and music! Ah, what memories. The glitter of class rings came in the spring along with the wonderful class play. We Shook the Fam- ily Tree was the highlight of the Junior year! Rodney Weller Advisor Then came the Junior-Sen- ior Banquet and it was grand!
