Ida the only girl in the class owning a car, She drove to places near and far, To ride on the bus to and from school, She didn't mind at all to do. Down the highways Jerry would fly, In his Olds. He's quite a guy, When the time came to get a date, Sharon was the one who seemed to rate. Janice the Art editor of the Senior Star, Keeps her studies up to par, Ready to help whenever needed, And her advice should always be heeded. Phyllis a girl who always had plenty of dates, A gal who, with Ralph always did rate Phyllis Blazek is the girl of whom I say, Maybe you'll be invited to her wedding someday. Ronald who played on the baseball team, Wasn't nearly as quiet as he may seem, Wherever there's fun, he 's always around, But when the teacher appeared he couldn't he found. This lad made it a point to have fun, But Melvin managed to get his lessons done, With all the girls he gets along swell, What he'd do next you never could tell. lake who always resolved to do better, Came to class every day later, Although he's the youngest of our boys, Where he goes there 's sure to be noise. Near Williamson, Iowa lives this girl, Who on the dance floor liked to twirl, Hillbilly music Marilyn liked to hear, To be an Airline reservationist was her chosen career. Farewell to the '56 Senior Class, We hope you will remember each lad and lass, Down the halls our footsteps no more shall ring, But part of our memories to this will cling.
