“He had been wrestling for seven years and his only injuries were eight broken noses three broken legs, and two cracked collar bones His title is, 'Big Bulldog Berdine ' As if this wasn't enough, Marilyn read farther and almost fell out of her chair when she read that his manager was none other than Phyllis Tucker a former lady bouncer at the Dew Drop Inn run by Bernadine and Ed Blazek Phyllis has managed Berdine for the last four years and since she has taken over, Berdine's record has been perfect. ulu and Nancy had changed quite a bit since Mrs Claussen had last seen them, so she had to look under their pictures to tell exactly who they were Wonder what they could be doing now? She remembered them as a cute pair of bobby soxers The shock was almost too much for Marilyn when she found out what they had been up too Lulu and Nancy now owned and managed the famous, nationally known, Coleman Female Globe Trotters Their job now was about the same as it had been when they managed the basketball team during their senior year at Prescott High They kept the Globe Trot ters supplied with gum, safety pins, lemons, towels, and first aid supplies Marilyn had been reading for so long that she was getting a headache, She put down the annual and went to the bathroom to get an aspirin She returned to her reading and her eyes continued down the column, until she stopped at the famous name of Mr. Bradley Moore It seems as though Bradley is now the President of the Henry J Motor Company He got this position when he entered his Henry J in the stock car race as a hot rod improved the Henry J so much when he entered the race that the Henry Company offered him a job, and he worked his way up to this position Morriss still wasn't home from work from the race track stable where owned the finest class of horses in the country So Marilyn had time keep on reading She came across the name of Carolyn Karstensen a girl that had joined the class in their senior year Marilyn recalled that Carolyn had always kept the typewriter humming in practice period at P H S She reaped good profits from her hard work, because as Marilyn found when she guessed which 'Twin had the Toni' and had received this position as a reward By this time Marilyn had reached the last name in the annual and was just about ready to put it away when she happened to think that she had not read about her two best friends Betty Ryan and James Rychnovsky Turning rapidly back to the 'R's', she ound that two pages were stuck together There, in big bold letters were Ryan and Rychnovsky Betty and Rick had bought out the Des Moines egister and Tribune and had started up a branch of this business in Prescott called the, 'Prescott Gossip and Know It All Tribune ' They got the idea of owning a newspaper when they were seniors in high school Rich had been the Editor of the school paper and Betty, the Gossip Editor The paper is now growing rapidly and they are sending issues across the Atlantic and to Russia behind the Iron Curtain With these two people came to conclusion of the class of '52 ' lell Marilyn thought, little did I realize that my class would all rise to fame and fortune, when in school they were noted as the mischievous and the nois lest class to graduate Rising slowly, she placed the book back in its original place, satisfied that all her classmates had achieved such dis tinction and fortune x , 1 L . i He . . . J. ' . he . to . , she is now digging up all the dirt for Walter Winchell. She got this job I . 6 . ' 9
