star of Station K S I city of Iowa. Chestine ducer spotted her while tre. She now makes her toothpaste called, Shiney Bright , for the whitest teeth in the world Marilyn had almost forgotten one of the members of the senior class, Harold Dillon, until she began daydreaming of the ornery things that had happened during her high school days In his sophomore year, he had skip ped school to go to Cornfng and had to scrub the gym floor As if this wasn't enough, he skipped school in his senior year to go duck hunting and had to write the constitution It wasn't much of a surprise to her then when she found that Harold was working in the Prescott Courthouse issuing duck licenses She figured Harold had taken this job so he would always have a duck license handy whenever he wanted to skip a day of work While Marilyn was reminiscing she was interrupted by the ringing of a door bell She laid aside the annual and went to see who it could be It was only the paper boy bringing the evening paper She quickly opened the paper and on the very front page in large letters was the newly elected head doctor of Prescott Memorial Asylum for mental deficient patients Wilford Hubatka acquired this job by donating the largest sum of money to a fund for straight jackets After graduation from P H S , Wilferd attended P U or Prescott University where he received his psychology de gree After leaving college, Wilferd was in the air force for five years, B Channel twenty four in Creston, the capital got her big start in television when a big pro she was playing at the Prescott Summer Stock Thea living by smiling, for she advertises a new kind of This was too much for larilyn, so she put down the paper and again picked up the annual Marilyn continued under the nH's until she came to Ronald Hunter's name and picture It wasn't hard for her to recognize Ronald, the guy who was always imitating Donald Duck Ronald, had decided against being a farmer, and went to Hollywood to seek his fortune One day while Ronald was entertaining sane kids in the street, one of Walt D1sney's talent scouts happened to be passing by He thought Ronald was so good that he signed him up as an assistant to Walt Disney with his Loony Toony Movie Cartoons Ronald, has now added to his collection of Charac ters, Goldy the Fish, Bessie the Heifer, and Cuddles, the Collie Looking carefully on into the nl'sn, making sure not to miss anyone she came to the name of James Mulford, the boy had been popular with the students in his class, During his final year at Prescott, Jim was talking and thinking about joining the navy, wo upon graduation, he enlisted in this branch of the service He served for four years and in that time he acquired an education in the field of electronics Nhen he was discharged he decided to use his knowledge of electronics by becoming assistant head of the new Atomic Plant which had just been built at Prescott Jim has become quite famous and well known for his work in this field As you all know, Jhn was the man who discovered the formula for Mulfords High Powered Nitro Bomb, which is more powerful than the Hydrogen bomb. Just as Marilyn finished reading about her old classmate Jim Mulford, she heard a scream from the nursery It seems that one of her children was beginning to get hungry After settling this difficulty she went back to her reading and found that her next classmate was Collette Pottinger Collette, during her senior year had taken a great interest in teaching and with Mr Strickfaden's consent had helped teach part of the third and fourth grades After graduating from high school, Collette entered Pres Education and cott Teachers College She received her B A in Elementary immediately started teaching in Prescott Grade School, where for four years before she was hired to replace Maude Friman, on a pension. ing he the was larilyn quite expected Collette to become a teacher but she taught who retired she hadn't quite figured out why or how Carroll Sprague ever became a preacher See his name in the annual reminded her of the happiest day of her life, day Reverend Carroll Sprague minister at Bernadine and Ed always in mischief and ready uating, he decided to change his of was to become a preacher He married her and Morriss Carroll was also Blazeks wedding In high school Carroll to do anything but work But after grad ways The only good way he could think has preached at the Prescott Methodist Church for six years While Marilyn was remmnisclnr over the happy days gone by, she happened to let the book slip from her fingers. As it dropped to the floor it opened to the page where she saw a picture of a large man holding a heavy three hundred pound weight over his head. Who could this big muscle bound man be? She couldn't think of anyone in her class that could qualify for a wrestler, so rapidly looking for a name to match the figure, she came a- cross the name and much to her amazement, saw that it was none other than Berdine Spring. Berdine was now heavy weight Champion of the world. n - n D U I then.he received his job as head doctor in the asylum. . n c P .

He had been wrestling for seven years and his only injuries were eight broken noses three broken legs, and two cracked collar bones His title is, 'Big Bulldog Berdine ' As if this wasn't enough, Marilyn read farther and almost fell out of her chair when she read that his manager was none other than Phyllis Tucker a former lady bouncer at the Dew Drop Inn run by Bernadine and Ed Blazek Phyllis has managed Berdine for the last four years and since she has taken over, Berdine's record has been perfect. ulu and Nancy had changed quite a bit since Mrs Claussen had last seen them, so she had to look under their pictures to tell exactly who they were Wonder what they could be doing now? She remembered them as a cute pair of bobby soxers The shock was almost too much for Marilyn when she found out what they had been up too Lulu and Nancy now owned and managed the famous, nationally known, Coleman Female Globe Trotters Their job now was about the same as it had been when they managed the basketball team during their senior year at Prescott High They kept the Globe Trot ters supplied with gum, safety pins, lemons, towels, and first aid supplies Marilyn had been reading for so long that she was getting a headache, She put down the annual and went to the bathroom to get an aspirin She returned to her reading and her eyes continued down the column, until she stopped at the famous name of Mr. Bradley Moore It seems as though Bradley is now the President of the Henry J Motor Company He got this position when he entered his Henry J in the stock car race as a hot rod improved the Henry J so much when he entered the race that the Henry Company offered him a job, and he worked his way up to this position Morriss still wasn't home from work from the race track stable where owned the finest class of horses in the country So Marilyn had time keep on reading She came across the name of Carolyn Karstensen a girl that had joined the class in their senior year Marilyn recalled that Carolyn had always kept the typewriter humming in practice period at P H S She reaped good profits from her hard work, because as Marilyn found when she guessed which 'Twin had the Toni' and had received this position as a reward By this time Marilyn had reached the last name in the annual and was just about ready to put it away when she happened to think that she had not read about her two best friends Betty Ryan and James Rychnovsky Turning rapidly back to the 'R's', she ound that two pages were stuck together There, in big bold letters were Ryan and Rychnovsky Betty and Rick had bought out the Des Moines egister and Tribune and had started up a branch of this business in Prescott called the, 'Prescott Gossip and Know It All Tribune ' They got the idea of owning a newspaper when they were seniors in high school Rich had been the Editor of the school paper and Betty, the Gossip Editor The paper is now growing rapidly and they are sending issues across the Atlantic and to Russia behind the Iron Curtain With these two people came to conclusion of the class of '52 ' lell Marilyn thought, little did I realize that my class would all rise to fame and fortune, when in school they were noted as the mischievous and the nois lest class to graduate Rising slowly, she placed the book back in its original place, satisfied that all her classmates had achieved such dis tinction and fortune x , 1 L . i He . . .
