We, Louie and Byrd, the two belt beyl Never thought ef making much noise, We'd do our best to act like gentlemen Of course there was the timeg you remember when? When writing this poem we had to rack our brain, What few we had we really did strain But at last we finally have gotten it done, And found it silly but a lot of fun. Ae we all take our last look, At the schoolhoase and our books. We may see the day when we'd like to return, And study many of things we d1dn't learn. Qhvss Prophepy In a small cottage, in the suburbs of the rapidly growing Prescott Com unity, our former Miss Marilyn McKee, who is now Mrs Morriss Claussen, had just tucked in her three sets of triplets and had settled down in front of the fire to kill a few hours before bedtime ShB1T68Ch8d for her favor ite book, True Romance, but she picked up by mistake an annual of '62' which had been published purposely for the great athletes and personalities of the preceding years of '62' and found, to her surprise, that the whole class of H52H was mentioned She turned to the first page and found a picture of Larry Antisdel and Carol Beatty Carol had moved to New York and had started a large expen sive business of interior decorating for the Empire State Building. course she needed an assistant, so she hired Larry Antisdel This struck Marilyn as being very odd, because she remembered Larry had always been color blind But it seems Carol doesn't mind She turned the page and found in red letters President of General Motors, and underneath was a picture of Louis Blazek This did not come to her as a surprise, for she remembered Louis had always been mechanically inclined For he had always had to fix the fuse boxes and stubborn elec tric motors in the farm shop for lr Bundy, and last but not least, that infernal mimeogreph machine that always went on the blink just when you needed it Next Marilyn found an advertisement advertising a new night club, lo cated at Stringtown, called the Dew Drop Inn, owned and managed by Bernadine and Edward Blazek, Bernadine being the former Miss Putnam This night club was exclusive' Only the higher class of people who happened plane while itm s refueling were permitted to enter Looking under the 'B's' she received quite a shock for she found a large colored picture of the President of the United States. She now was looking at none other than Ronald Botkin Ronald had now been in office about two years I suppose the reason she didn't know that Ronald was President was because he had changed his name from Ronald Botkin to Gerald Skinner She happened to think that this had been his name in the Senior Play Ronald was called 'The Savior of School Children , because he had passed a bill, saying that all the schools should have school only three times a week, shorter days, and longer noon hours Now she came to a picture that had oil wells all over the page and in the middle was a picture of a tall, handsone, guy in a ten gallon hat and cowboy boots He looks very familiar but she couldn't seem to recognize him because the hat covered most of his face Reading farther down she found that it was a millioniare by the name of Reldon Cline Reldon had become great friends with John D Rockerfeller and good old John had given him a little old handful of oil wells It seems Reldon had started out as a crooner and had one day dedicated John a number on his radio program John, being so delighted and grateful, gave him the oil wells. Television had changed quite a bit in the last ten years, but the Claussens hadn't made up their minds whether to get one or not, so Marilyn had no idea of what was to come As she turned the page, Chestine Crowell's picture loomed up at her from a television screen Chestine was now the O o h n 1. star of Station K S I city of Iowa. Chestine ducer spotted her while tre. She now makes her toothpaste called, Shiney Bright , for the whitest teeth in the world Marilyn had almost forgotten one of the members of the senior class, Harold Dillon, until she began daydreaming of the ornery things that had happened during her high school days In his sophomore year, he had skip ped school to go to Cornfng and had to scrub the gym floor As if this wasn't enough, he skipped school in his senior year to go duck hunting and had to write the constitution It wasn't much of a surprise to her then when she found that Harold was working in the Prescott Courthouse issuing duck licenses She figured Harold had taken this job so he would always have a duck license handy whenever he wanted to skip a day of work While Marilyn was reminiscing she was interrupted by the ringing of a door bell She laid aside the annual and went to see who it could be It was only the paper boy bringing the evening paper She quickly opened the paper and on the very front page in large letters was the newly elected head doctor of Prescott Memorial Asylum for mental deficient patients Wilford Hubatka acquired this job by donating the largest sum of money to a fund for straight jackets After graduation from P H S , Wilferd attended P U or Prescott University where he received his psychology de gree After leaving college, Wilferd was in the air force for five years, B Channel twenty four in Creston, the capital got her big start in television when a big pro she was playing at the Prescott Summer Stock Thea living by smiling, for she advertises a new kind of This was too much for larilyn, so she put down the paper and again picked up the annual Marilyn continued under the nH's until she came to Ronald Hunter's name and picture It wasn't hard for her to recognize Ronald, the guy who was always imitating Donald Duck Ronald, had decided against being a farmer, and went to Hollywood to seek his fortune One day while Ronald was entertaining sane kids in the street, one of Walt D1sney's talent scouts happened to be passing by He thought Ronald was so good that he signed him up as an assistant to Walt Disney with his Loony Toony Movie Cartoons Ronald, has now added to his collection of Charac ters, Goldy the Fish, Bessie the Heifer, and Cuddles, the Collie Looking carefully on into the nl'sn, making sure not to miss anyone she came to the name of James Mulford, the boy had been popular with the students in his class, During his final year at Prescott, Jim was talking and thinking about joining the navy, wo upon graduation, he enlisted in this branch of the service He served for four years and in that time he acquired an education in the field of electronics Nhen he was discharged he decided to use his knowledge of electronics by becoming assistant head of the new Atomic Plant which had just been built at Prescott Jim has become quite famous and well known for his work in this field As you all know, Jhn was the man who discovered the formula for Mulfords High Powered Nitro Bomb, which is more powerful than the Hydrogen bomb. Just as Marilyn finished reading about her old classmate Jim Mulford, she heard a scream from the nursery It seems that one of her children was beginning to get hungry After settling this difficulty she went back to her reading and found that her next classmate was Collette Pottinger Collette, during her senior year had taken a great interest in teaching and with Mr Strickfaden's consent had helped teach part of the third and fourth grades After graduating from high school, Collette entered Pres Education and cott Teachers College She received her B A in Elementary immediately started teaching in Prescott Grade School, where for four years before she was hired to replace Maude Friman, on a pension. ing he the was larilyn quite expected Collette to become a teacher but she taught who retired she hadn't quite figured out why or how Carroll Sprague ever became a preacher See his name in the annual reminded her of the happiest day of her life, day Reverend Carroll Sprague minister at Bernadine and Ed always in mischief and ready uating, he decided to change his of was to become a preacher He married her and Morriss Carroll was also Blazeks wedding In high school Carroll to do anything but work But after grad ways The only good way he could think has preached at the Prescott Methodist Church for six years While Marilyn was remmnisclnr over the happy days gone by, she happened to let the book slip from her fingers. As it dropped to the floor it opened to the page where she saw a picture of a large man holding a heavy three hundred pound weight over his head. Who could this big muscle bound man be? She couldn't think of anyone in her class that could qualify for a wrestler, so rapidly looking for a name to match the figure, she came a- cross the name and much to her amazement, saw that it was none other than Berdine Spring. Berdine was now heavy weight Champion of the world. n - n D U I then.he received his job as head doctor in the asylum. . n c P .
