We, Louie and Byrd, the two belt beyl Never thought ef making much noise, We'd do our best to act like gentlemen Of course there was the timeg you remember when? When writing this poem we had to rack our brain, What few we had we really did strain But at last we finally have gotten it done, And found it silly but a lot of fun. Ae we all take our last look, At the schoolhoase and our books. We may see the day when we'd like to return, And study many of things we d1dn't learn. Qhvss Prophepy In a small cottage, in the suburbs of the rapidly growing Prescott Com unity, our former Miss Marilyn McKee, who is now Mrs Morriss Claussen, had just tucked in her three sets of triplets and had settled down in front of the fire to kill a few hours before bedtime ShB1T68Ch8d for her favor ite book, True Romance, but she picked up by mistake an annual of '62' which had been published purposely for the great athletes and personalities of the preceding years of '62' and found, to her surprise, that the whole class of H52H was mentioned She turned to the first page and found a picture of Larry Antisdel and Carol Beatty Carol had moved to New York and had started a large expen sive business of interior decorating for the Empire State Building. course she needed an assistant, so she hired Larry Antisdel This struck Marilyn as being very odd, because she remembered Larry had always been color blind But it seems Carol doesn't mind She turned the page and found in red letters President of General Motors, and underneath was a picture of Louis Blazek This did not come to her as a surprise, for she remembered Louis had always been mechanically inclined For he had always had to fix the fuse boxes and stubborn elec tric motors in the farm shop for lr Bundy, and last but not least, that infernal mimeogreph machine that always went on the blink just when you needed it Next Marilyn found an advertisement advertising a new night club, lo cated at Stringtown, called the Dew Drop Inn, owned and managed by Bernadine and Edward Blazek, Bernadine being the former Miss Putnam This night club was exclusive' Only the higher class of people who happened plane while itm s refueling were permitted to enter Looking under the 'B's' she received quite a shock for she found a large colored picture of the President of the United States. She now was looking at none other than Ronald Botkin Ronald had now been in office about two years I suppose the reason she didn't know that Ronald was President was because he had changed his name from Ronald Botkin to Gerald Skinner She happened to think that this had been his name in the Senior Play Ronald was called 'The Savior of School Children , because he had passed a bill, saying that all the schools should have school only three times a week, shorter days, and longer noon hours Now she came to a picture that had oil wells all over the page and in the middle was a picture of a tall, handsone, guy in a ten gallon hat and cowboy boots He looks very familiar but she couldn't seem to recognize him because the hat covered most of his face Reading farther down she found that it was a millioniare by the name of Reldon Cline Reldon had become great friends with John D Rockerfeller and good old John had given him a little old handful of oil wells It seems Reldon had started out as a crooner and had one day dedicated John a number on his radio program John, being so delighted and grateful, gave him the oil wells. Television had changed quite a bit in the last ten years, but the Claussens hadn't made up their minds whether to get one or not, so Marilyn had no idea of what was to come As she turned the page, Chestine Crowell's picture loomed up at her from a television screen Chestine was now the O o h n 1.
