Senior Class History The memorable year of 19 7 saw Prescott High School take 1ntoir's walls thirteen poor little green Freshies They were Martha Davis, Rosemary Holllngs worth Clevune Tanner, Claudean Lundhigh, Carita Outhier, Marilyn Goodwin, Mabel lilliams, Marcella Mohr, Marjorie Snyder, Danny Brown, Richard Brown, Dallas Hofmeistsr, and Arnold Nelson The class officers were President Rosemary, Vice President Marjorie, Sec and Tress Danny, Representative to Student Council Marcella, and Queen Candidate Martha Thirteen slightly less bewildered Sophmores started the year of 'MS with more determination Two new members joining the ranks were Audrey Henderson and Larry Campbell Marjorie Snyder and Marcella Mohr left Prescott The four proud class officers of this year were President Danny Vice President Larry Sec and Treas Rosemary Sargeant at arms Marjorie, Queen Candidate Rosemary and Student Council Representative Danny The Junior year was started with fifteen members The two new student were Marjo Botkin and Jim Gray Class officers elected were President Martha, Vice President Jim Sec and Trees Larry Sergeant at arms Dick, Student the highlights of the year was the Junior Senior Ban uet This gala occasion was paid for by the Junior class play 'Huckleberry Finn' and various other profit able functions Now the year of 1950 Sl is here and almost gone A year that we most like ly will remember the rest of our lives The class officers this year were to be President Carita Outhier, Vine President Dick Brown, Secretary Arnold Nelson, Treasurer Rosemary Hollingsworth, Student Council Representative Claudean Ann Lundhlgh, and Carnival Queen Carita Outhier The motto chosen was H ake your e eats stepping stones to victory Class Colors Gray and Fuchia Class Flower lhite Rose The executives of the Student Council are President Larry Campbell Vice President Danny Brown, and Sec and Treas Dick Brown Fourteen Seniors will walk onto the stage this spring and receive their dl plomas One dropped out this was Jim Gray What the future will hold for us we can but guess The armed Forces? College? Jobs? Marriage? No crystal ga zer of fortune can tell Perhaps some day a genius will invent a 'Telefutureal' machine But as for now we would like to thank all of the teachers that have so wholeheartedly helped us to set our course O O lp , I Council Representative--Dick, and Carnival Queen Attendant--Claudeln. T'wos the Night of Graduation T'was the night of graduation, when all thru the room Not a student was stirring, rot even Clevune The school books were piled in the corner with care, In hopes that diplomas soon would be there The Speaker arose and spoke with a sigh Here are the lk graduates of Prescott High Now I'll take each individually in review, And reveal their past history to all of you Marjo, student, cheerleader, pep and all, A smile for everyone she meets in the hall Dick, student manager of the boys, Coaching and driving are two of his joys Danny, the night owl of our class, If a chance to go comes, he won't let it pass Larry's known for his famous baseball pitch, And for a basketball he'd never switch Skip, demure and quiet in her own special ways, And quick to catch on to the basketball plays Marilyn's interest is definitely in books, Trim and neat clothes, and well groomed looks Audrey, a quiet intelligent lass, The oldest of the '51 graduate class 'JJ Dallas, noteworthy for a lot of fun and noise Can get along good with the rest of the boys Rosemary, a spirited gal who'll do lots of work, Basketball, Annual, or Senior Star she'd never shirk Claudean the glamour gal of our class, Can make a sure, steady basketball pass Arnold, Editor of our School Paper, Is always on a Hhot scoop caper Carita, the post forward of the basketball team, Was chosen to be our Carnival Queen Clevune, leader of our cheerleading girls, Had a lot to do with short skirt that swirls nMabe1 s ambition is to become a nurse, An y ur ambition always comes first N I There arose an applause from the attentive crowd, P Q And on he went in a voice strong and loud 'We're proud of this class of 'Sl , Maybe the smallest, but the best under the sun Q..
