Like Jack's beansTaIk, iT grew and grew, unTiI now The subscripTion IisT is nearing The ZOO mark, and The TuTure seems secure. The new name STudenT PrinTs appeared as The resuIT oT a conTesT, and The I-Ienderson Twins may be proud oT Their conTribuTion. The paper has TaiThTulIy chron- icled evenTs oT inTeresT To Maxwell Hall residenTs, and has endeavored To wield a pro- gressive iniluence on sTudenT opinion. The larger parT OT The class ol: '36 has aT one Time or anoTher submiTTed maTerial Tor pubIicaTion, and a reliable group oT conTribuTors is rapidly developing in The succeeding classes. IT was originaTed by members oT our class To supply The crying need Tor good new books which would be easily available To everyone in The hall. The library is sponsored by The STudenT GovernmenT and The original seIecTion oT TourTeen books was purchased by The STuclenT Government A small renTal Tee Tor books which are borrowed makes possible The addiTion oT new'TicTion and non-TicTion books Trom Time To Time. Many people have generously donaTed books so ThaT The library grew apace Trom The beginning. SeIecTion oT new books is made on The basis oT requesTs Trom members oT The library. A commiTTee chairman, appoinTed by The ExecuTive Council, has charge oT The library, and seIecTs her own assisTanTs. Books are exchanged Twice a week.
