I I-HSTORIA In lhe beginning lhey were iniecled wilh lhe bug called slrep, and many did pass oul al prayers, and were exceeding wrolh, lor il abaled nol a whil lheir sore lhroals. And lhen lhere broke aboul lheir heads lhe slorm ol exams, and aboul hall lhe number ol lhe mullilude deparled lrom lheir midsl. The remainder were slriped blue and while, and had while caps lo lheir heads, and were swollen wilh pride. And lhey did lhal which would make lhem rich, lo wil, a hurdygurdy, and a car- nival, and lhe hosl drew near and paid shekkels lo make merry wilhin lhese walls, and one named Kaiser did run lhese evenls and ol lhem did make a huge success. Wilhin lhe lime ol lhese damsels il did happen lhal lhere was conceived lhe yearbook,- lhe newspaper called Sludenl Prinls , and a welcoming ceremony lor lhose who should come aller lhem. and a new and beller Forum. To lheir zeal was all lhis due, so lhal lheir name shall be remembered as lhe beginning ol a new era. And lhey did reorganize lhe panlries, so lhal now lhe Seniors drink milk and a clean and wholesome kilchen is delivered up lo lhe nexl class. And lhere came inlo being a lending library conceived by Charlolle Kerr and May Broomhead lhal did make money and improved lhe cullure ol lhe inhabilanls. And Mary Ludes said unlo lhem, lhou shall have an aclive and inleresling Sludenl Governmenl, and her words were borne oul, and under her sway lhe organ- izalion did lhrive and progress, and il did pass lo lhe able hands ol Charlolle Kerr in lhe winler ol lhe year. And one nighl lhere appeared belore lheir wondering eyes lhe Senior skils, and lhere did pass in lronl ol lhem lhe lrials and lribulalions ol a sludenl nurse, running lhe garnul lrom wailress lo a denizen ol lhe nighl called Quinn, and Tarzan l-lall did play a noble parl in lhese dramas. And il came lo pass in lhe lasl days lhal lhese damsels wenl oul lrom Maxwell Hall, and were blessed by Miss Young and Mr. Dean Sage, and were no more seen in black hose, lor lhey had embarked on lhe gardenia lrail, and may lhe world go well wilh lhem.
