o (pil Students — that ' s what a yearbook ' s all about anyway, isn ' t it? Students are the reason the college exists, not just a side-effect of its existence Students have been here since 1880, and we will be here as long as the college is here. We are like the stockholders of a corporation: as long as we continue to profit from our investment, we will continue to invest in it; and without our investment, there would be no corporation. Because students are the life-blood of Presbyterian College, we, the members of the 1984 Pac Sac staff, have decided to make the theme for this yearbook Students. As students, we are provided with a superior atmosphere, both academically and socially. Several areas of instruction are unsurpassed in the state and are regionally recognized for their outstanding quality. We are given the opportunity to view cultural events at no additional cost. Our dining hall is well above the state average for quality of food. The administration is more and more acknowledging the high maturity level of most PC students and is changing its regulations to meet that high level. But it is the student body itself that has established and enforces the Honor Code. Socially, PC ' s climate is one that is envied: Playboy has recognized PC as being one of the best small partying campuses. PC exists for students. And that ' s all there are to it!
