Thomason Library Clrnton. South Carolina 29325 A 105259 DEDICATION As awesome as the new library is, it takes only the famil- iar wave from the office by the entrance to give the struc- ture its personality. As unconquerable as its rows and rows of books appear, the knowledge necessary for control is simply in asking the right man, and when this man does this job with understanding and amiability beyond measure, the school most surely owes him a fitting tribute. We, the Senior class, do therefore dedicate the 1975 Pac Sac to Dr. Lennart Pearson. Under the editorship of Eddie Lee, the Blue Stocking became a potent sounding block for student body opinions on campus, national, and state issues. With a staff unafraid of taking controversial stands in hope of bringing progress to the college, the 1974 edition of the Blue Stocking will not soon be forgotten. The 1974-1975 year will see more than 350 student volunteers serve some 1500 children, adults, and aging persons. The design for service enables students to engage in responsible Christian commitment in growth experiences of mutual dignity for both the volunteer and the persons served. Leadership potential matures as volunteers redesign old programs, incorporate new programs, and plan each day ' s activities. The dedication and work of the students plus the guidance skills of numerous faculty members con- tinually sustains resources for service. Volunteer Services Council: William R. Walter William B.
